That’s because TenBrook brackets are designed to minimize materia alba which is the accumulation of microorganisms due to food debris that cause plaque.

Cleaning tips include brushing at least four times a day – if possible, after each meal or snack. You should also floss your teeth once a day. Your orthodontic staff will show you how to thread the floss through the wires to loosen any food that may be stuck there or near the brackets. Using a fluoride rinse once a day is also a good idea. Keeping your teeth clean will protect your braces, as well as prevent cavities and plaque buildup. Make sure you visit your dentist every three to six-months for a professional cleaning.
