Dr. James TenBrook has been practicing for nearly three decades. As a Harvard-trained orthodontist, “Dr. T” has treated over 20,000 patients in South Jersey.
Identifying an opportunity to move teeth more quickly and naturally, TenBrook developed and patented his own revolutionary TenBrook T1 and T-Clear Self-Ligating Braces treatment system, which dramatically reduces patients’ actual time in braces while providing more comfort during the process of tooth alignment.

Dr. TenBrook is a Harvard-certified orthodontist. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, PA, and then proceeded to the Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston. There he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the James B. Edwards College of Dental Medicine.
Dr. TenBrook continued on to Emory University for his internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Upon completion, he went on to the esteemed Harvard University, where he earned his Master of Medical Sciences and Orthodontic Degree from the Harvard Medical School and Forsyth Dental Center, respectively.

After completing his studies and residency, Dr. TenBrook realized his dream of bringing innovative, high quality orthodontic treatment to families in his Southern New Jersey hometown. He currently owns and operates ten TenBrook Orthodontics offices in New Jersey as well as TenBrook Laboratories, which offers high quality, custom-made dental and orthodontics appliances to the dental and orthodontic industry.
Dr. TenBrook treats his employees and patients like family, creating an authentic culture with an experienced team, highest quality orthodontics, and approachable team that brings personalized care to every patient.
Dr. TenBrook Lectures
Dr. TenBrook is internationally known for his self-ligating braces system and process which has improved both the time in braces and the level of comfort for patients. He has been a guest speaker, both nationally and internationally, from Palm Springs, CA to Pretoria, South Africa, where he lectured on treatment efficiencies and practice management solutions.
Dr. TenBrook is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and the Harvard Society for the Advancement of Orthodontics.
