Dr. Jagdesh Dudani, Orthodontist

Dr. Dudani is the leading doctor at the TenBrook Orthodontics’ Cumberland County offices. He received his doctor of dental medicine degree and completed his post-doctoral training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics from Nova Southeastern University.

Dr. Dudani prides himself on his attention to detail and the fact that he treats each and every patient as if they are a member of his own family. To him, nothing matters more than having outstanding outcomes and as a result, happy patients. He has performed thousands of orthodontic procedures, enhancing the lives and self-confidence of countless TenBrook Orthodontics patients.

Why did you become an orthodontist?

As an orthodontist, you get to work with patients to help correct their bite, improve their facial balance and provide them with a great smile. It allows you to get to know the patient over the long-term and to play a role in their journey to increased self-confidence.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?

Creating beautiful, healthy smiles that give patients lasting confidence is the most rewarding aspect of my job.

As an orthodontist, I am fortunate enough to be able to build long-term relationships with my patients. Being in a position to create beautiful smiles and improve oral function, which in turn can help increase the self confidence of patients, is very gratifying.

What makes your approach to treatment unique?

Here at TenBrook Orthodontics, we use self-ligating T1 braces, which were invented by Dr. James TenBrook. The combination of these braces along with the wires we use, helps decrease friction between the orthodontic system and deliver light forces. This makes the treatment faster and less painful compared to traditional braces. That, along with our friendly and well trained orthodontic staff, makes every appointment for the patient a pleasurable one.

More About Dr. Dudani

Prior to joining TenBrook, Dr. Dudani received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and completed his post-doctoral training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from Nova Southeastern University. He was also an Associate Professor in Endodontics at the Dr. DY Patil Dental College in Pune, India where he served as an instructor, provided clinical supervision for third and fourth year dental students, and performed endodontic treatment, endodontic surgeries, and post-endodontic restorations. He has served as an associate dentist at the Paedia Pal and Dental Clinic and at Ruby Hall Hospital as well.

As an associate dentist, he performed various procedures including oral prophylaxis, intra and extra-coronal restorations, root canal therapy, extractions, and removable partial and complete dentures.

Dr. Dudani is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the American Dental Education Association, the American Student Dental Association, the Academy of Operative Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Indian Dental Association.

He frequently participates in local dentistry and orthodontics related charity events including Rotary Club Dental Camps, Give Kids a Smile Events, and dental health awareness programs. He is is adept in a variety of systems including T1, aligners, Edgewise and self-ligation, and he is a certified Invisalign provider.

In his spare time, Dr. Dudani enjoys playing soccer, trying new restaurants around Philadelphia, and watching crime drama television series like Breaking Bad and Ozark.
